God is eagerly waiting for the chance to answer your prayers and fulfill your dreams, just as He always has. But He can’t if you don’t pray, and He can’t if you don’t dream. In short, He can’t if you don’t believe.

sharing moments
It seems that every time I have something that has inspired me, something that has lifted me up, I've wanted to share it. So I've decided to create a blog to post those moments, a place to journal, share a lesson or a talk, a scripture or a song that has uplifted me. I do have our family blog, but I felt like having a place to share more gospel related topics, or whatever, would be better. And this way others can share their moments of inspiration as well. What you contribute does not always have to be about gospel things, just any experiences you've had, books or quotes you've read, songs you've heard that have had a positive impact on you, a friend, or family member. So, please enjoy and let me know if you would like to become an author/contributor on this blog, or if you have any suggestions or experiences that you want to share and I'll post them for you-please email me at rowingyourboat@gmail.com
what can I contribute?
Suggestions for music, books, websites, even recipes
Quotes, stories, scripture references, video links that you like or have a story about.
Motivational items
Sharing with us what you're involved in, working on, goals you're striving for.
If you just need a place to get whatever you need out of your head.
Positive, uplifting, and/or appropriate experiences that you just feel like sharing!
Can I just read the blog, or do I have to contribute? NO! please enjoy this blog in whatever way is comfortable for you. We're just here to help you row your boat.
So in thinking of a title for this blog I found a talk given by Chieko N. Okazaki. She was the first counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency and gave a talk during General Conference in 1994 entitled, "Rowing Your Boat". It is a wonderful talk and very long, but here are a few lines that helped me decide the title of this blog.
"What happens if you try to paddle a boat using only one oar? You go around in circles. If you paddle hard, you go fast. If you paddle slowly, you turn gently. But you still just go around in circles. It's the same with trying to make study replace faith or trying to exercise faith but without study. We can find ourselves just going around in circles. I think that the Holy Ghost cannot give us some answers until we are actively seeking knowledge."
"Let our Relief Societies be supportive and sharing. We are all in the Relief Society boat, and it needs all of us to paddle just as hard as we can."
